8fold Integrated Creative Works

Everyday is filled with endless opportunities and possibilities. There is always something new popping up in the world around us, and there is always another company opening its doors with the hope of a bountiful future.  8Fold Integrated Creative Works is that stepping-stone which leads those driven hopefuls down the right path towards triumph.

8fold is a Morristown, NJ-based, client-driven “8gency” that focuses on giving their clients the right tools to bring their branding and marketing to life. HipNJ’s Melisa LaTour sat down with Jennifer LoBianco, founder of 8fold, and discussed how her company has helped numerous New Jersey businesses achieve maximum results.

Jennifer expressed the three most important factors 8fold takes into consideration when working on a marketing campaign:  Knowing the customer/audience; identifying and understanding the competition; and measuring company traffic.  By arming themselves with this information, and integrating creative thinking and problem solving into their strategies, 8fold charters the most direct path to prosperity.

One of 8fold’s many success stories is Crossfit of Cranford, NJ (where this interview took place); they doubled in size in just a year and a half after coming on board with Jennifer and her partner, Brad Leszczynski.

So if you’re looking for your business to get to the top and stay there, visit 8foldworks.com for the best brand strategists in the business.

Richard J. Codey Arena Hosts Night of Heroes

The most impressive football game wasn’t played at Metlife Stadium last weekend; it was at South Mountain Reservation Complex in West Orange, New Jersey!

The Wounded Warrior Amputee Football Team, 9/11 first responders from New York and New Jersey, and over 30 NFL legends squared off in a charity flag football game that showcased why our citizens are #JerseyStrong.  Participants included former New York Giant Jim Burt, New York Jet Joe Klecko, retired Pittsburgh Steeler Rocky BleierNFL Hall-of-Famers Jack Youngblood and Anthony Munoz, Green Bay Packer legend Jerry Kramer and ESPN’s Tim Hasselbeck.

Besides dazzling the packed crowd with their football prowess, the participants were very generous of their time, posing for numerous photos and signing autographs prior to kickoff.  The legendary 70’s group The Village People performed their greatest hits at halftime, and there was even a marriage proposal at the 50 yard line!

“Essex County rocks!”  exclaimed New York Giants legend Phil McConkey to our own Lisa Marie Latino.

That sentiment was echoed throughout Lisa Marie’s chats with former Philadelphia Eagle and the inspiration for the movie “Invincible”, Vince Papale; New York Giants Super Bowl champion Leonard Marshall; ESPN’s Dave Stevens and Colonel Gregory D. Gadson, a bilateral above-the-knee amputee who served as a source of inspiration for the Giants historic Super Bowl XLII run.  Lisa Marie also spoke with retired football pro Joe Andruzzi, who was there to support his three brothers that sacrificed their lives during the September 11 attack.  Joe is no stranger to heroics himself, however- he is credited for rescuing numerous people at the finish line during last year’s tragic Boston Marathon bombing.

Only in New Jersey did you find these megawatt sports stars during Super Bowl Week!

Females, Football and Philanthropy

Spa treatments, chic boutiques, makeup tutorials…this wasn’t your father’s tailgate party!

Females, Football, and Philanthropy” kicked off Super Bowl weekend in glam style. Powerhouse New Jersey women (and some men!) filled the Upper Montclair Country Club in Clifton, NJ to hobnob with celebrity chefs and CBS Sports Radio personalities (including the night’s emcee, Amy Lawrence, and WFAN’s Janice Kirkel), shop an exclusive silent auction, and sip on custom cocktails by Punzone Vodka. The Wellness Lounge treated guests to massages, chiropractic adjustments, ear candling, and reflexology. And what’s a tailgate party without some football?  Players from the New York Sharks, part of the Women’s Football Alliance, showed guests how to toss a football, hit a target, suit up and have lots of fun!

“Females, Football & Philanthropy” was all to benefit the American Cancer Society, and honored a courageous group of local women that won their battle against their illness.  Honorees included actress Regina Taylor; Annie Del Moro; Andrea Raynor, author and 9/11 chaplain; Nicole McGrath, DDS, founder of the KinderSmile Foundation; Pamela Pecs Citron, founder of Pendo Systems, Inc.; and Deb Belfatto, co-founder of Susan G. Komen for the Cure (North Jersey Chapter).

#HipNJ’s Gina Cerniglia “Glammed up the Ultimate Party for a Cause” by interviewing some of the honorees, attendees, and founder of the event, Allison Sargent.
