Bridal Beauty Fun at José Eber Salon

#HipNJ’s hippest brides flocked to Millburn’s José Eber Salon for their bridal beauty event, hosted by New Jersey’s event planner to the stars, Danielle Rothweiler of Rothweiler Event Design.

The salon’s chic industrial look, outfitted with stark white decor and glamourous chandeliers, made the perfect backdrop for the betrothed to meet with some of the Garden State’s premiere wedding vendors.

Guests enjoyed appetizer samples from Jersey City’s Maritime Parc, which included delicious cuts of various meats and an array of cheeses. Complimenting that spread were succulent dessert samples by Dumont’s My Daughter’s Cakes, who provided samples of their cookies, cakes and pies. José Eber Salon also offered sinfully sweet, branded cake pops, compliments of Santatori.

Meet #HipNJ’s Matchmaker

Why ask a fortuneteller who you will marry when a matchmaker can introduce you to the lucky guy or gal?

#HipNJ’s Kelly Dillon sits down with New Jersey Matchmaker Julianne Cantarella to learn just how she was matched with her profession.

Formerly a therapist with a masters in social work, Cantarella’s work was quite different than it is today. She worked with people with infectious disease, AIDS patients and the mentally ill as a psychiatrist. But that ship had sailed after the birth of her second son, when the compass of her skills then pointed to a new direction: matchmaking.

Cantarella is a matchmaker, dating coach, relationship expert and owner of a private matchmaking practice in North Jersey. Her transition to the field of love was a natural one!

“I really was working with people and their relationships since I started out,” Cantarella said. “Men come to me, they hire me and I go out and conduct a collective search on their behalf.”

The power is truly in the matchmaker’s hands! She selects exactly who these suitors get to meet with.

Cantarella said matchmaking is her passion. She loves helping people find someone who is the right one sought out just for them!

Cue the hearts, but hold Cupid’s arrow, the New Jersey Matchmaker has got this one covered!

Say ‘I do!’ to Wedding Salon!

A gallery of décor, gowns, towered cakes—DJ’s, photographers, and planners that could all be a part of your special day!

#HipNJ’s Kelly Dillon was surrounded by all the blissful wedding details as she chatted with CEO & Founder of Wedding Salon, Tatiana Byron.

With exhibitors from Long Island, New York City, the Caribbean, Europe, Mexico and of course hip New Jersey, love birds flock to The Wedding Salon for ideas and inspiration as they plan their special day.

“It’s basically a place where couples can come and meet with their dream vendors for everything from finding their gown to honeymoon destinations, their photographer, get their hair and makeup done and sample cake,” Byron explained.

As a wedding planner, Byron wanted to create a one-stop destination couples could visit that featured all of their wedding day essentials.

“They didn’t have a platform or a place to go where it’s a curated experience with the best of the best,” Byron said.

In business for over ten years, Wedding Salon has travelled to several major cities across the U.S. including NYC, Chicago, Miami and Washington D.C. Next on the road map for this delightful demo: Texas, the Lone Star state!

Wedding Salon patron Alison Komorowski boasted about how professional and informative all of the vendors at the bridal show were, stating she couldn’t wait to see what was in store.

And the icing on the cake…world famous Carlos Bakery was on the scene with samples sure to make your mouth water!

“We always love these events because people get so excited about their wedding,” Lauren Souza of Carlos Bakery said, “We do every single kind of cake and we love to do it and make the brides happy.”

You know what they say…happy bride, happy life!
