Wedding Salon

Say ‘I do!’ to Wedding Salon!

A gallery of décor, gowns, towered cakes—DJ’s, photographers, and planners that could all be a part of your special day!

#HipNJ’s Kelly Dillon was surrounded by all the blissful wedding details as she chatted with CEO & Founder of Wedding Salon, Tatiana Byron.

With exhibitors from Long Island, New York City, the Caribbean, Europe, Mexico and of course hip New Jersey, love birds flock to The Wedding Salon for ideas and inspiration as they plan their special day.

“It’s basically a place where couples can come and meet with their dream vendors for everything from finding their gown to honeymoon destinations, their photographer, get their hair and makeup done and sample cake,” Byron explained.

As a wedding planner, Byron wanted to create a one-stop destination couples could visit that featured all of their wedding day essentials.

“They didn’t have a platform or a place to go where it’s a curated experience with the best of the best,” Byron said.

In business for over ten years, Wedding Salon has travelled to several major cities across the U.S. including NYC, Chicago, Miami and Washington D.C. Next on the road map for this delightful demo: Texas, the Lone Star state!

Wedding Salon patron Alison Komorowski boasted about how professional and informative all of the vendors at the bridal show were, stating she couldn’t wait to see what was in store.

And the icing on the cake…world famous Carlos Bakery was on the scene with samples sure to make your mouth water!

“We always love these events because people get so excited about their wedding,” Lauren Souza of Carlos Bakery said, “We do every single kind of cake and we love to do it and make the brides happy.”

You know what they say…happy bride, happy life!

The Hip List: Wood Watches By Jord

Wood is what holds homes together, it is what we walk on when we vacation at the Jersey Shore, it stands tall in our forests. Rethink this sturdy material and picture it around your wrist, telling time.

Unlike the other uses of wood mentioned above, with Jord watches, wood is the main feature.

Jord translates to earth, soil, land in Swedish and speaks true to the concept of the Jord watch. Entwined in each timepiece is an appreciation for natural elements, simplicity, efficiency and above all utility.

“Jord owners don’t just have somewhere to be, they have somewhere to go. We believe our watches tell more than time,” according to

Each watch is designed to be as unique as its owner. With selections including colorful faces, square and round pieces, multi-colored wooden bands, and untraditional wooden blends, you’re sure to find your Jord perfect match!

“Our methods ensure that our watches are not just worn, they’re used,” Jord’s website reads.

Wear your Jord like a boss, use it like it’s your job.
