The Water Lantern Festival in Jersey City

The Water Lantern Festival, presented by One World, is coming to Jersey City! This event is an incredible experience where you, your friends, and family will create a magical memory of life. It’s a time where strangers can come together, show love one another, and heal themselves.

This festival is the only one in the United States that combines the magic of friends, family, and great food with a beautiful array of twinkling lanterns on the waterfront. The purpose of this experience is to bring together individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and walks of life to:

Experience Happiness
Discover Love
Bring Healing to The Soul
Enjoy Peace and Unity
Increase Hope and Faith Connect with others

There is something to do for everyone at this beautiful event. You can enjoy various local food trucks, relax while listening to music, check out the local vendors, decorate lanterns, or even play a game of corn hole with your pals.

As the sun begins to set in the evening sky, the Water Lantern Festival begins to shine as the lanterns are launched onto the water. Watch your unique lantern drift on the water as it joins other lanterns. This is when you can reflect on your life, share your dreams, and feel the peace of all those around you as you enjoy the reflection of the lanterns on the water.

The Water Lantern Festival is a for-profit event. One World partners with local charities and non-profit organizations surrounding Jersey City. This year they partnered up with the Liberty Humane Society, who will receive a portion of the proceeds made.

2018 New Jersey Digital Marketing Conference

This year, the New Jersey Digital Marketing Conference (NJDMConf) presented by SEMGeeks is taking over the shore, and #HipNJ has the scoop!

We spoke with Conference Planning Committee members Aimee Mnich, Christina Diecidue, Pete Schauer and Chris Delany to learn more about the event, taking place Friday, July 20 at Bell Works in Holmdel.

Founded on innovation and creativity, NJDMConf has become the premiere marketing industry event in the tri-state area. Gathering like-minded thought leaders, NJDMConf was put in place to educate individuals on the latest digital trending topics, provide valuable networking opportunities, and allow a community to come together and share industry tips relevant to building up a brand.

The group saw a need for a marketing-focused event in New Jersey. However, it has since become much more widespread.  “Although it is a Jersey-based event, it has become larger than that because of the talent we bring in,” the committee states. People are coming in from across the country to attend.

NJDMConf is a full-day of thought-provoking lectures from industry leaders. These knowledgeable digital marketing professionals are interested in sharing their experiences, providing valuable insight into how they became successful, and showing you the tools needed in order to do so. Both collaborative and fun, innovators from all over the state will flock to the shore area in search of understanding trending digital topics imperative to growing their business. Speakers include Dani Toth from Google and Ty Lingley of Unbounce. “We work with a lot of talented people internally and through our partners, so we are able to cultivate great speakers,” the committee says.

Anyone can purchase tickets. Whether you are a business owner looking to learn more about digital marketing, or a college student, you will leave with knowledge to use to your advantage.
