Irina Shabayeva on Designing for the Bold, Feminine Woman

Irina Shabayeva, fashion designer and season six Project Runway winner, sat with Joanna Gagis on “A Life & Living Moment” to discuss her fashion and the women she designs for.

“Every woman wants to be glamorous and beautiful, and that’s what I love to do,” Shabayeva says. “Clothing and fashion enhances that, but it’s really about an attitude of femininity and being bold about it.”

Shabayeva says that being a woman is beautiful, “and we should all embrace it.” Who is her target audience? A woman who wants to be unique and express who she is.

“I love to cast models that are curvier,” Shabayeva says. Most women are not stick thin, and she calls for everyone to embrace themselves as they are.

Rachel Ross Episode of “Dining With The DJ”

Brining us the best of both worlds, the “Dining With The DJ” web-series combines conversation of event entertainment and fashion! Created by event entertainer, and founder of NinetyThree Entertainment, Artem Lomaz, this episode featured award winning blogger and mom-trepreneur, Rachel Ross. Artem and Rachel chat about her blog, motherhood, the importance of entertainment to weddings, and so much more! Key moments include Rachel’s recap of her encounters with Dave Grohl and Bruce Springsteen, Artem’s intrigue about 90’s fashion, and Rachel re-living her wedding reception.

In this four-part episode (with a bonus part five!) we learn about the evolution of Rachel’s fashion sense, and get Artem’s take on event preparation and approach to his Master of Ceremonies duties at weddings. The shared conversation was had over dinner and cocktails at David Todd’s City Tavern, in Morristown, and produced by Generic Brand Human.

Rachel’s blog, The Rachel Rossis an award-winning and acclaimed archive of her stylish and fashion-forward approach to life. With inspirational quotes, articles about raising her two daughters, and photos of her daily looks, every young woman can relate. Her adventurous spirit is evident throughout her writing and the emotional investment within some of her heart-warming articles is to be of notice.
