Jamie Chebra on the Importance of EMS

Director of EMS at JFK Medical Center Jamie Chebra sat with Joanna Gagis on “Life & Living” to discuss the importance of ambulatory care.

Chebra believes that everyone should trust Emergency Medical Services to provide them with rapid and efficient treatment prior to arriving at the hospital.

“Basically, we are bringing the emergency department to you,” he states. “You have the advantage of staying right where you are and allowing us to bring all of that care to you.”

Andi Pasquin on Being a Working Mom

Andi Pasquin, Wells Fargo Home Mortgage Consultant, stopped by the #HipNJ studio to chat with Maria Falzo about her work with Wells Fargo in Summit.

Pasquin has been in mortgage banking for 15 years. 9 of those years have been spent with Wells Fargo, servicing the whole state of New Jersey. She primarily helps NJ’s law enforcement community. “It’s very rewarding to help those that help us,” she states.

“There’s a lot of balance and struggle that goes along with trying to have a successful career and also be a successful parent,” the working mom says. “So, I try my hardest every day.”

Pasquin offers some advice for maximizing your time. She states that she has tried to identify pockets of time she calls “empty space.” “Rather than listening to the radio or making personal calls, I try to capture anything I can get done professionally in that time space,” she explains.

Comedian Dan Pulzello on Comedy Night

Comedian Dan Pulzello joined Lisa Marie Latino in the #HipNJ studio to discuss Comedy Night, an event benefiting The Tom Coughlin Jay Fund.

Comedy Night will be held on February 28th at the Glen Rock Inn. The comedy event will feature Pulzello, as well as Joe Devito and Kevin Dombrowski.

Dan Pulzello has performed at Eastville Comedy Club, The Triad Theater, Greenwich Village Comedy Club, The Stand, and Broadway Comedy Club.

The Tom Coughlin Jay Fund Foundation’s mission is to help families tackle childhood cancer by providing comprehensive financial, emotional and practical support to help reduce the stress associated with treatment and improve their quality of life.
