The First Edition of the Greater Newark Visitor Information Guide

The 1st Edition of the Greater Newark Visitor Information Guide is being prepared for a Fall 2018 release! The Greater Newark Convention and Visitors Bureau (GNCVB) has partnered with DMC Publishing to bring the publication to visitors and locals alike.

The guide will benefit domestic and international visitors getting to know the city of Newark and the greater Essex County region. It will be available in print and digital format and will include essential information about restaurants, bars, attractions, events and more. There will be an initial release estimated to number around 500,000 copies.

Victor Nicols, CEO of DMC Publishing, is excited about the opportunity to promote the city of Newark:

“The opportunity to work with the GNCVB on its Visitor’s Guide is a natural fit for us. It gives us both the opportunity to showcase the City of Newark and all the exciting development and initiatives that are transforming the community into a cutting edge 21st century metropolis.”

DMC Publishing is the parent company of the publication Newark Bound, a destination magazine for events, programs and activities in New Jersey’s largest city.

President and CEO of The Greater Newark Convention and Visitors Bureau, Karin Aaron, is equally as excited about the collaboration:

“We are thrilled to be working with Publisher/CEO Victor Nichols and DMC Publishing…an established organization with over 30 years of experience promoting travel and leisure in the State of New Jersey. Victor and his team have a clear understanding of what makes Greater Newark and its environs a unique destination, and the importance of tourism to our local economy.”
