MSNBC’s Joy Ann Reid On Media in the Trump Era

MSNBC’s Joy-Ann Reid sat with Steve Adubato on “One-on-One” to discuss the relationship between the media and President Trump.

“What we have right now,” Reid says, “is a president who sees himself as an opponent of the media.” She explains that President Trump only sees media that praises him as valid.

She states that President Trump will continue to tell his followers that media that does not cover him with adulation is invalid. She says that at this time, a relationship between the White House and the media is nonexistent.

#HipNJ Shows Support Alongside Trump at the U.S Women’s Open

This weekend, Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, NJ was host to the 2017 Ladies Professional Golf Association’s (LPGA) U.S Women’s Open! 

President Donald Trump flew in to show his support for these sporty ladies and watched alongside #HipNJ and other attendees. Other members of the Trump family were also in attendance, including Barron Trump and Eric Trump.

President Trump took to twitter throughout the day to promote the event and celebrate the athletic achievements of these women.  

President Trump also congratulated the winner of the tournament, 23-year- old Sung Hyun Park on a job well done.  

This was South Korean Park’s first LPGA tour victory and her first major championship title as well.  #HipNJ congratulates her on this respectable achievement! 

Eric Trump On a Mission to End Pediatric Cancer

Eric Trump, founder of the  The Eric Trump Foundation, sat down with Joanna Gagis on “Life & Living” to discuss his mission to help kids with cancer by supporting the St. Jude’s Research Hospital.

The Eric Trump Foundation is dedicated to raising money for children battling life-threatening diseases at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. “St. Jude’s is the best research hospital in the world for pediatric cancer,” Trump states.

Why pediatric cancer? “Kids are a universal. Everybody likes kids.” Trump describes how pediatric cancer puts young, innocent lives at risk, and that is not fair. “First and foremost, you have to help the kids.”
