In the age of remote gathering, the creative minds in the arts community still know how to throw a great party. This fall, Women@NJPAC is hosting the Spotlight Gala @ Home to drum up support for arts education—and raise New Jersey’s morale.
Women@NJPAC is a coalition of female artists, enthusiasts, and patrons within NJPAC. Founded in 1994, its members dedicate themselves to representing women in the arts community through event planning, fundraising, and more.
This year, Women@NJPAC is organizing their first-ever Spotlight Gala @ Home event. The socially-distanced festivities will celebrate NJPAC, and the power of the arts to bring us together while apart.
With the New Jersey Performing Arts Center not resuming live shows until January, this event is the latest way they’ve adapted to the digital scene. This virtual approach follows in the footsteps of the Center’s virtual luncheons and their NJPAC In Your Living Room service.
Airing on Saturday, October 3rd from 7PM to 8PM, the one-hour special will air on NJTV and social media. Guests include Tony Award winner Brian Stokes Michael, Billy Porter, Christine Ebersole, Valerie Simpson, and more.
At only 8PM, the night is young! Don’t feel like stopping the party? Join NJPAC for an Instagram after-party, where participants can get in the groove with guest entertainers DJ Kiss and DJ M.O.S.
What better way to support New Jersey’s arts community than by having fun doing it? To get your tickets, visit the event’s online registration portal here.
