A culinary empire is expanding to Asbury Park, NJ! Acclaimed Jersey-native Chef David Burke announced this week the arrival of a new pop-up restaurant in the popular shore town.
Lauded internationally for his skill, Burke operates several restaurants in the Garden State, from Fort Lee to Sea Bright. Bearing numerous awards and oft-featured in press, he’s certainly a face to follow in the American restaurant scene.
His latest pop-up, Asbury Kitchen by David Burke, anticipates a mid-August opening after being delayed by the coronavirus crisis. Patrons can find it at the former site of Modine, at 601 Mattison Avenue, Asbury Park NJ.
The restaurant will offer outdoor dining 7 nights a week from 4pm-10pm. In addition to their dinner menu, brunch is available Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 11am to 4pm.
Burke is dishing up bistro-style cuisine with a modern flare, a classy-yet-casual atmosphere perfect for unwinding at the shore. From beach favorites like soft-shell crab to chic combos like watermelon & asparagus salad, Asbury Kitchen promises something for everyone. To sate your sweet tooth, their dessert menu boasts treats like macaron sundaes, cheesecake pops, and coconut rum floats.
If you’re in the mood for a drink, happy hour will be every evening from 4pm to 6pm. With expert mixologist Chris James serving artisan cocktails, why not enjoy a sip as the sun goes down?
