#HipNJ’s Asia Grace was lucky enough to sit down with New Jersey comedian Chris Williams at the #HipNJ studio to talk about his comedic journey and all things funny.
Chris might have been born in Philadelphia, but has been representing Cherry Hill, New Jersey throughout his entire nine years as a comedian. Chris Williams did not always aspire to be a comedian. He originally went to school for Broadcast Journalism looking to pursue a different route to life.
After a series of unfortunate family events, a friend suggested he do a fifteen-minute set and the rest is comedic history. He really knew how to not let the bad things get him down. The road was not always easy. Eventually, Chris found his own voice, which is essential for anyone to make it in comedy. They always say that things happen for a reason.
