The last dwindling days of summer have been nothing sort of beautiful. August has been gracing New Jersey with heat, sunshine, and fun. Here’s what you missed is weekend:

Two very different artists came to entertain NJ on Friday night. Kristin Chenoweth performed at The Borgata Music Box in Atlantic City, NJ. She shared a post on Instagram after the show hyping up AC night 2. Black Sabbath rocked the BB&T Pavilion in Camden, NJ. The Prince of Darkness (Ozzy Osborne) knows how to slay the show.

Kenny Chesney was in the Garden State this weekend. Adorable Sam Hunt opened. 56,292 fans piled into MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ for the Spread the Love Tour. He shared a photo on Instagram of enthusiastic fans smiling, screaming, and waving the flag proud captioning it, #americankids. He described the audience as, “Magic.” We agree, Chesney.

The Rio Olympic games closed with a bang for the USA. We finished with a total of 121 medals with China and Great Britain following behind with 70 and 67. 46 of the 121 medals were gold, 37 silver, and 38 bronze. The US athletes are truly number one. New Jersey’s women’s all around gymnastics gold medalist Laurie Hernandez (Old Bridge) shared a picture at the closing ceremony on Instagram with track and field Olympian Sydney McLaughlin (New Brunswick) with the caption, “Jerseyyyyyyyyy!” We are proud of you, girl! GO NJ! USA USA USA!
