Calling all golfers and foodies! The Edgewood Country Club will be collaborating with Golf Kitchen to bring to you the “Golf Kitchen | Edgewood Fine Dining Soirée and Golf Kitchen Culinary Excellence Awards”. On Thursday, October 4, 2018, at 7:00pm, chefs from some of the most prestigious golf and country clubs in the Northeast and Florida will showcase some of the best cuisines in the golf club industry.
The event was created by Edgewood COO and General Manager Frank Benzakour, CCM, CCE, And Golf Kitchen Editor-in-Chief Diana DeLucia. “We are thrilled to collaborate with Golf Kitchen magazine’s Diana DeLucia in creating this extravagant event which will be truly in a class of its own, showcasing some of the very best cuisines the golf club industry offers,” said Benzakour.
Attendees will have the opportunity to sample each club’s cuisine, while learning about their history at this exclusive event. It will be a sit-down dinner, where attendees will be able to interact with chefs. There will be an opening party with cocktails, champagne, tapas, an oyster tasting and a carving station with Iberico ham from Spain. There will also be silent and live auctions sponsored by Grand Stand Sports to benefit St Jude Hospital, and the first-ever Golf Kitchen Culinary Excellence Award presentations. The closing party will include dessert.
“It has long been my dream to create and launch the Golf Kitchen Culinary Excellence Awards,” said DeLucia. “Edgewood is an exceptional setting for such an elegant event. Edgewood members will receive a discounted ticket price, but you do not have to be a club member to attend! Everyone is welcome to come out and enjoy this elegant event!
