Earlier this month The Grove in Cedar Grove, NJ had the distinct honor of hosting the Connie Dwyer Breast Cancer Foundation‘s 12th annual Gala. The annual gala has been a staple for the foundations for years, but this year there is more to celebrate than usual with the opening of the new Connie Dwyer Breast Center at Trinitas Medical Center in Elizabeth, NJ.
Many were in attendance at the Gala, eager to donate to the cause via raffle, auction, or any other means – anything to show support for the wonderful foundation, and the woman at the forefront, Connie Dwyer herself.
The Vice President of Trinitas, Nadine Brechner, expressed nothing but love and admiration for the cause when interviewed by our very own Maria Falzo, saying “the Connie Dwyer foundation has the most amazing people that are committed to helping people less fortunate than themselves.”
Attendees included members of the staff and board of Trinitas Medical Center, members of Connie Dwyer Breast Center, the Vice President of Neiman Marcus, Connie Dwyer’s three daughters Becky, Maureen, and Susan – and countless friends, family, and various others who believe in the foundations mission of maintaining breast health and treating breast cancer, no matter your wealth or background.
