Equinox in Summit recently teamed up with the Fill-A-Need Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting adults with special needs, to host a “white party”. The event raised money for the Hamlet, a campus to support the needs of adults with autism.
#HipNJ’s Gina Cerniglia spoke to the party’s VIPs, including Co-Founder & President of Fill-A-Need, Katie Cancro.
“We want to bring the communities together and bridge the gap between the world of Autism and the communities and offer a type of campus that almost acts like a type of community in itself,” explained Katie.
Equinox General Manager Brian Grogan also chatted with #HipNJ about why they decided to host this event: “One of our members is greatly involved with autism initiatives, and she brought Katie to us and this great foundation. We’re extremely honored to help here tonight.”
The party was packed with attendees eager to support this great cause. Aston Martin Summit | Short Hills showcased their newest fleet of vehicles, and Paul Anthony Entertainment provided a DJ accompanied by violin and percussion. Guests enjoyed complimentary cocktails and hors d’oeuvres by twofiftytwo. Most importantly, significant funds were raised to help better the lives of these important #HipNJ citizens!
