“Black Girl Monologues is scripted collection of social monologues to be accompanied by theatrical treatments produced by the creative native of New Jersey, Yolanda Hughes. Paying homage to playwrighter, Ntozake Shange’s first work, For Colored Girls….#BGM’s production was created from a similar structure with a contemporary style. We have previously sold out at several theatre houses including in London and NYC area. We now prepare for a production at legendary NJ theater . BGM is showcasing interconnected stories of love, enablement, enrichment and loss as they are all complex representations of sisterhood. Tackling current trending social conversations plaguing women in the community like body images, abandonment, domestic violence, friendships, relationships and more.” Get your tickets now their website!
