Headlining on July 11 is the Bronx’ own Vladimir Caamaño, whose comedic style is the fruit of an immigrant Dominican family living in the cultural mecca that is New York City and is described as an elegant combination of urban grit & intellect. Caamaño began polishing his wit in the concrete jungles of the Bronx and Washington Heights, launching into the stand-up comedy circuit after graduating from Wesleyan University. In 2017, he made his late-night standup debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and performed again at the prestigious Just for Laughs Gala hosted by Lilly Singh. Caamaño has also been seen on Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Marvel’s Runaways, and NBC’s Superstore.
Joining him is New York native Nore Davis, who first started doing stand-up comedy as a teenager while living in Yonkers, NY. Early on in his career, Davis befriended the then-unknown Amy Schumer, bonding over their mutual love of comedy. Their friendship continued when Schumer started her own show, Inside Amy Schumer, on Comedy Central, with Davis appearing in the pilot episode. Davis has also appeared on Last Week Tonight, MTV’s Nikki & Sara Live, NickMom Night Out, and The Artie Lange Show, and had a minor speaking role in HBO’s Boardwalk Empire. He has also been seen in many videos on the comedy website, CollegeHumor.com. The MC for the night will be Josh Wesson.
