GWACC’s Women-to-Women “Ten Years Later” Event

GWACC’s Women-to-Women “Ten Years Later” Event

Promoting her debut novel, Ten Years Later, #HipNJ’s Lisa Marie Latino spoke at the Greater Westfield Area Chamber of Commerce’s Women-to-Women event at the JCC of Central New Jersey about the process of writing her book!

Female business professionals throughout Garden State attended the event and left very excited for the upcoming novel, which will be released on October 4th.

“I loved hearing Lisa Marie speak.  I loved hearing her story, she’s dynamic, and I’m so looking forward to her book release in the fall,” said Maria Fuentes, VP and Regional Manager of Westfield Bank.

“It was the story of someone who overcame obstacles to fulfill her professional goal, and that’s what [the Women-to-Women group is] here for, to help each other develop and grow,” explained  Mariella P. Foley, Senior Director and Wealth Advisor at Round Table Wealth Management.

Maria, Mariella and and a number of #HipNJ women make up the Greater Westfield Area Chamber of Commerce Women to Women Networking Group. Their mission is to increase networking opportunities for local businesswomen and empower them to achieve their personal and professional goals!

Ten Years Later is the inspirational story of a the not-so-typical heroine, Carla D’Agostino, who is stuck in a seemingly dead-end job, single, and still living with her overbearing Italian-American parents. She is thrown for a loop when she realizes her ten-year high school reunion is fast approaching. True love, a career as a sports radio talk show host, the perfect body – every dream remains frustratingly out of reach no matter how Carla strives and schemes. Out of reach, that is, until unexpected events lead her right back to where she started, and Carla discovers that all she ever wanted was right in front of her the whole time.

Ten Years Later is a witty, unpredictable tale of one ordinary young woman’s race for the top as she throws caution to the wind and decides to go for her dreams.

Ten Years Later will be everywhere October 4th; make sure to pre-order your paperback and Kindle copy today on Amazon!
