Are you an established hairdresser? Are you looking for an opportunity to improve your craft? Do you need help practicing or learning new skills? If so, #HipNJ has some good news for you!
Daniel Joseph “DJ” Muldoon, a hairdresser with 27-years-worth of experience, will lead a hair cutting workshop from Sept. 26 to Sept. 27.
DJ has spent most of his career sharing his craft with aspiring hairdressers. He used to be the creative director at Vidal Sassoon Academy, and he helped create the haircutting system and curriculum at the Paul Michell Schools organization.
In 2011, DJ created theFactory, an independent creative production space, academy, and salon located in San Diego. DJ teaches hands-on classes and creates web-based education at theFactory.
The two-day workshop will be held at the Anthony Garubo Salon in Maplewood, NJ. Day One will focus on hair layering, and Day Two will focus on hair graduations.
Workshop participates must bring their own supplies. The necessary equipment includes a set of combs, a pair of scissors, a set of hair clips, a water spray bottle, a blow dryer, a Denman type brush, and a tripod. Tickets cost $1,200 per person.
