In hospitals and care facilities across New Jersey, nurses, doctors, and other front-line staff are fighting hard against coronavirus. What follows is a statement from CareOne, a long-term care network, on what one nurse in Holmdel had to say about life on the front lines.
Terri Rufo is an RN and Administrator at CareOne in Holmdel. She has also been there for our patients since the coronavirus outbreak. She has been in the building day in and day out.
Terri has been making sure her patients are safe, virtually connecting with their family members, and keeping morale high, all while being quarantined from her own family. Like many others, Terri has given up so much to make sure her patients receive the highest level of care; that includes nursing and culinary to everything in between.
Please join us as we salute Terri and all the other healthcare heroes who have sacrificed so much so they can provide 24/7 care for their patients and residents who they call family.
