HomeTowne Television’s (HTTV) Lisa Allen, host and board member, and Amanda Olsen, station manager, keep locals aware of the important news that’s happening in their town.
HTTV has been in existence for 40 years, in the same location which is based in Summit. Their nonprofit cable access station is unique as they are limited around NJ. There are only about 11 left within the state.
People can come in the station to produce a show, which most shows cover government, private shows, education, and health shows. HTTV works with different businesses in town to cover local events, whether it’s meetings, government meetings, concerts, or anything going on around the area!
They are focused on building the community and keeping people updated and aware about what’s going on in their town. Everything is evolving and constantly changing, so HTTV does their best to keep up with the latest news.
Throughout the years, they have rebranded their business. They hold true to the same concepts but since technology is evolving, so are they. Their colors are black, white, and red which are very timeless.
#HipNJ and HTTV work hand in hand in promoting one another’s station. We put content on their station and vice versa. Our relationship with one another gives us a good blend as we complement one another; #HipNJ goes all over NJ, while HTTV stays local. Collaboratively, we use one another’s content and are able to flourish off of our partnership with each other.
HTTV is big on keeping the local community updated on what’s happening in their area, which they will always stay true to! Check them out on their Instagram, website, and Facebook
