What is your favorite local restaurant?
My favorite local restaurant is Charritos in Weehawken. I have been going there for the past two years and I have to say that their view of New York City is one of my favorite things. Another favorite is their authentic Mexican guacamole that’s prepared right in front of you. How cool is that!
What is your favorite salon or spa?
I love The Strand Salon in River Edge. The atmosphere of the salon is wonderful and the staff there is very welcoming. The service is amazing, including Angel who is a great barber. They offer you snacks, wine, champagne, or cappuccinos with a cute design. You also get special treatment for your birthday.
What is your favorite local health and wellness center?
Powerhouse Gym in South Hackensack is my go-to.
Where is your favorite local daytime hangout?
My favorite local daytime hangout is at The Barrow House in Clifton. It’s a very cozy place. I really enjoy their drinks and appetizers. I also love their unique decor around the restaurant which gives a cool look to the place. The bartenders and waitresses are very attentive. I recommend getting the rustic pizza which is delicious.
What is your favorite nighttime hangout?
MamaSushi in Passaic is my favorite nighttime hangout. I enjoy going there with my friends for karaoke nights and live bands. Their Dominican style sushi is one of a kind, and the El Boulevard is my go-to dish.
What is your favorite local place to do business?
The Fine Grind in Little Falls and Kafe Neo in Totowa are my go-to places to do business. The atmospheres are very relaxing and they have amazing teas and lattes.
What is your favorite New Jersey downtown district?
Montclair is my favorite downtown district. It’s a very diverse town with so much to do. They have awesome restaurants, parks, and entertainment activities.
What is your favorite New Jersey-based service business?
Besides being one of my favorite cousins, Maylin Minaya Photography is my favorite Jersey-based photographer. I admire her work because she does everything with love. Her holiday and family portraits are amazing.
