What is your favorite local restaurant?
Ferazzolis Italian Kitchen in Rutherford. Man oh man, the food there is banging! My family and I eat there weekly, if not more. It’s not the food that makes them so awesome. It sure helps, but people LOVE the business for a different reason. The business is so involved in the local community, whether it’s supporting local charities, taking part in high school sports programs, or providing an understanding workplace for teenagers who live in town, he’s just amazing.
What is your favorite local health and wellness center?
Joint Health Physical Therapy of Rutherford. They helped me recover from an accident where I broke both wrists and an ankle. They are super friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and really care about their patients. The occasional donut and plate of penne ala vodka treat definitely doesn’t hurt!
Where is your favorite local daytime hangout?
On the weekends, we love going to Field Station Dinosaurs in Leonia. Its super fun, never packed and the dinosaurs look real!
What is your favorite nighttime hangout?
I love to grab a beer at ReBar in Lodi where the selection and food are excellent. Also, Boom Burger in Clifton. The staff always is looking out for you there.
What is your favorite local place to do business?
Steve’s Burgers in Garfield. They have great food, nice people and always giving amazing community support.
What is your favorite “Made in Jersey” product?
Alementary Beer. SO GOOD!
What is your favorite New Jersey downtown district?
Jersey City. It has such great restaurants.
How has COVID-19 affected your business?
I was made redundant at the end of February by my employer. I’ve since re-launched my hospitality and tech consulting company and having success in helping businesses to survive and grow past COVID-19.
