LuLu wanted to know who Asbury Park‘s best catch was, and the ladies have spoken!
Meet Josh Joyce, a 22-year-old server at Deal Lake Country Club. He participated in LuLu’s end-of-summer competition and won $500 for being crowned the highest rated, most reviewed guy on the dating app! (See his photo below).
“I was out with my friends at one of the Asbury Park bars, and the LuLu ambassadors were hyping up the contest,” explained Josh, who drew a 9.3 rating. “I thought it would be fun to see what my ranking would be, so I downloaded the app.”
Josh beat out over 100 entries in the area, and over 200 females weighed in on Josh and others. His rave analysis included #TotalPackage, #RealMan, #MothersLoveHim, #LoverNotAFighter, #WorkEthic, #EpicSmile, #GodsGiftToWomen, #KissableLips and more.
Where did his best review come from? His girlfriend!
“She wasn’t upset that I entered the contest,” Josh said. “She thought it was fun.”
According to LuLu marketing manager, Taylor Morgan McPherson, the Asbury Park event was a success.
“There was a very palpable buzz around town, plus we saw a spike in downloads,” explained Taylor.
Taylor dished that Asbury Park’s booming single’s scene and dating culture was the perfect place to stage this campaign, and has her sights set on other potential #HipNJ locations to continue LuLu domination!
“We’re looking at colleges for the next phase, such as Monmouth University,” said Taylor.
