Just in time for Halloween, Four Siblings are Surprised with the Ultimate Trick-or-Treat Haul: 1,200 Pounds of Candy
Wonderama, the award-winning family series known for showcasing kids and their amazing talents, delivered a truckload of candy to the O’Sullivan kids – Sadie, 9, Aiden, 9, Kenley, 7, and Maybre, 5 – the grand prize winners of its Wonderama Wonder-een Costume Contest. Arriving at the O’Sullivan family’s front door the day before Halloween, Wonderama unloaded a dump truck carrying 1,200 pounds of candy provided by Torie & Howard – a spook-tacular treat for the O’Sullivan children to share with friends and family.
The O’Sullivan kids were awarded the contest’s grand prize for their playful and creative costumes. In addition to the enormous truck full of candy, the family was featured on the Wonderama Friday Night “Haunted” House Party where they were interviewed by host David Osmond.
“We were so shocked and excited to win! You wouldn’t believe how much 1,200 pounds of candy really is. This definitely made up for not being able to trick-or-treat this year, but mom made us promise to share with everyone we know,” said Aiden O’Sullivan, age 9 who won the contest with her siblings.
“With everything going on in the world, it’s important that we are still creating opportunities for kids to just be kids and have fun,” said Charles Armstrong, CEO of Armstrong Interactive, Inc. and Wonderama Entertainment Holdings. “Halloween may look very different for everyone this year but we know it’s still all about the candy so Wonderama found a way to go just a little bit over the top for one family, and maybe their whole neighborhood, to make sure this is a Halloween they‘ll never forget – for a good reason!”
