Recently in the #HipNJ studio our Lisa Marie Latino sat down with Kathleen Butler Smith, founder of Morph Mom.
Kathleen started out just like many others. She got an amazing job, then decided to start a family. She worked as a prosecutor in Hudson County until eventually, after having her second kid, the “mom life” got to be too much with her work. She decided to make mom life her new full-time job.
After leaving her job she realized that going back to work would be a lot harder then she thought. Smith came to the conclusion that she wanted to overcome these times of confusion. She wanted to figure out what that next step was.
What she quickly began to notice was that she wasn’t the only person in the same boat struggling to find that next step. There are so many moms out there who are looking to rediscover that passion of theirs. She began to gather these stories of inspirational women who took their lives into their own hands and rediscovered that passion. This is when she created Morph Mom.
Morph Mom is now a beautiful thriving platform to promote and support not just moms but all women, and their stories of overcoming and accomplishing their goals.
Morph Mom is now such a diverse platform. They have a radio show where they bring men on to talk, a podcast, and all different types of panel events. They even had #HipNJ’s Lisa Marie on a panel recently! You can find all of this information on their website.
