Giants Fan, Gregory Hampton, Wins 100 Years of Season Tickets

Can you imagine winning 100 years of seasons tickets to your favorite sports team? Well, in Gregory Hampton’s case he doesn’t have to imagine that. He doesn’t have to worry about ever buying tickets to a Giants game again. This Giants fan is set for life.

After being rushed to the hospital and needing a serious medical procedure, his sons decided to put together a video and enter a contest hosted by the NFL. The NFL was hosting a contest to see who was the biggest football fan. People from all over the country were entering to say they were their favorite teams number one fan. The prize: 100 years of season tickets.

After entering the contest Hampton’s sons, Jaydon and Jordan, said “We didn’t actually think we had a chance to win it!”. Greg has been coaching his two sons in youth football their whole lives. Greg and his sons have always been very close. Jaydon and Jordan really wanted to win this competition for their dad.

The love for the New York Giants started with Gregory’s father. Gregory then made sure he raised his sons to be huge Giants fans as well. The Hampton’s say that the Giants really bring the whole family together. I mean even their dog is named after a Giants player (Saquon!).

After the competition had kicked off the Hamptons’ soon found out that they were in the top 3 of the entire competition! He was in the runnings with an Eagles fan, and Lions fans. Then the news broke, Gregory had won the 100 years of season tickets!

Gregory was so ecstatic with the win! He now had 100 years of season tickets. Even when Gregory can no longer enjoy the tickets, they can be passed on for generations to come.

Gregory stopped in the #HipNJ studio to talk to Lisa Marie about all things Giants and what his plans are with his recent winnings. To see more from Gregory check out his Instagram page.
