When the world feels uncertain, there’s no better time to help make people laugh. New Jersey comedian Jimmie Lee is taking his antics on-the-go with the newest season of his show, “Dangerously Funny.”
Known as “The Jersey Outlaw,” Lee has been active in stand-up since 2013 and performed across the US, from Los Angeles to New York to his home turf in NJ. Inspired by old-school classics like Don Rickles and Rodney Dangerfield, Lee describes his tone as “80s-style.”
Lee takes his comedy to the streets in a signature leather jacket and dark glasses, accompanied by his hype-ladies “The Bandito Girls.” Combining one-liners and clever jabs, the Jersey Outlaw pokes his fun in free-flowing, unstructured bits with his amused volunteers. Not politically correct “but mostly good-natured,” nobody’s safe when Jimmie’s in town.
His fourth season, “Dangerously Funny All Over the World,” sees Lee bringing the zingers to London, Paris, and Rome.
“It makes me feel really good to see people having fun, and entertained by my antics…” Lee told The Hollywood Times. “…We got a lot in store with a lot of surprises, so don’t go anywhere!”
Comedy-lovers can catch “Dangerously Funny” on YouTube, or stream it on Amazon Prime.
