North Jersey “Hippers”, strap yourselves in and enjoy the night of a lifetime!
Atlantic City is the premiere party destination in the Garden State, and the DO AC NIGHTLIFE experience makes the ride down the Parkway a lot more enjoyable. Passengers enjoy a 45-foot “Nightlife on Wheels” bus fully equipped with a DJ, strobe lights and a stocked bar. Once in AC, this joyride takes partygoers to a variety of top nightclubs.
#HipNJ’s Gina Cerniglia and her friends enjoyed this first-class adventure, and she chatted with some pretty excited partyers along the way, including Skeery Jones of the nationally-syndicated “Elvis Duran in the Morning”. Skeery and his team wanted to see how their Jersey listeners celebrated the weekend, and they exceeded their expectations!
Once #HipNJ & crew hopped off the bus, their first stop was Scores. Scores- located in the Trump Taj Mahal– is a sports bar with seven distinct spaces, each offering their own vibe to customers. Our favorite spot was the spacious deck that gave us a stunning view of the historic Atlantic City Boardwalk!
Our final spot was Ivan Kane’s Royal Jelly, located in the Revel Casino. The Royal Jelly is known for its signature circular catwalk that glides down over the bar, and is the original burlesque club in Atlantic City.
The Atlantic City Alliance launched Do AC in 2012 to raise awareness that AC is more than just gaming; it’s a multi-night, world-class, year-round destination.

The Park Savoy recently underwent a multi-million dollar renovation and restoration, and the mansion is a superb blend of contemporary glam and timeless architecture. Brides can perfect their look in the “Great Gatsby”-inspired bridal suite, while guests can mingle on the sweeping patio or by the cozy fireplaces. The rich decor- coupled with grounds’ lush, sweeping landscapes- provides newly married couples the quintessential storybook setting for their fairytale day! (Click here to view their photo gallery).
Peter toured the historicvenue and learned how The Park Savoy was originally an enclave for the upper echelon of the population. (The mansion was even a speakeasy at one point!)
Peter also spoke with the three owners- long-time #HipNJ business partners Barry Maurillo, Joe Maurillo and Vito Cucci, of Nanina’s in the Park fame. Over some of the Chef’s notable selections, the foursome chatted about the various events that the mansion hosts (weddings, parties, or corporate functions for 400) and why they take pride in hosting #HipNJ citizens’ most special occasions.
Joe Maurillo also spoke about a charity he and his business partners support, the Cheer Me Up Foundation, a non-profit organization that aids underprivileged and ill children.
