Looking for some last minute fun this weekend? Be sure not to miss the 33rd Annual QuickChek New Jersey Festival of Ballooning. It’s one of the largest summertime hot air balloon and music festivals in North America, and it’s right here in #HipNJ!
Over 100 balloons will float on the New Jersey horizon twice a day with scenic views of the Hunterdon County countryside. The festival also offers fireworks, live concerts, a human cannonball, a 5K challenge, interactive exhibits, and more.
Special guests include Disney Channel teen sensation Sabrina Carpenter and Jennifer “The Cannon Lady” Smith. Don Felder and the rock band Kansas will perform, in addition to the Wheels of Soul 2015 Summer Tour.
QuickChek’s Seahorse balloon is the Festival’s 121-foot tall signature balloon from San Paulo, Brazil. Guests can also see the PNC American Flag, the largest free-flying flag in the world. Some new balloons are the Master Yoda, Baby Blue giant whale, Baby Dino hatching baby dinosaur, and Piko a balloon with a charismatic smile.
