Salt Creek Grille – home to the best steaks, seafood, burgers, and sunset views at the Jersey Shore – is adding sushi to its menu.
Using their attention to detail and high-quality products, Salt Creek’s sushi chefs will prepare a variety of appetizers, sushi rolls, specialty rolls, sushi or sashimi, and sashimi omakase in a new prep area with refrigeration constructed exclusively for their use. Like all Salt Creek offerings, the new sushi dishes will be first class. The sushi program was recently introduced to the restaurant’s Princeton location. It was an immediate success, so Salt Creek Grille’s co-owner Steve Bidgood decided to try it at the beautiful Rumson location. Once again, immediate success!
“Our signature sashimi-style Tuna Stack is one of our most popular items on the menu,” Bidgood said. “It made sense to pursue a larger offering of sushi-style dishes. We have remained a favorite dining destination for over 20 years by listening to our customers and staying current with food trends. So, after seeing the success at our Princeton location we decided to add the sushi menu at Rumson. We are pleased to say it is already very popular.”
And don’t worry, you can still order Salt Creek Grille’s signature dish, Ahi Tuna Stack, with sashimi style, avocado, cucumber, wasabi, soy ($19 and gluten-free). But it is now on the sushi menu. Some examples of the 40 items on the sushi menu are: Edamame ($6), Spicy California ($10), Salt Creek Roll ($18), etc.
