If you’re tearing through your quarantine reading, another exciting novel is just the thing to flesh out your list. New Jersey writer Suzanne Trauth is delivering thrills with Killing Time, the latest installment of her Dodie O’Dell mystery series.
In her next adventure, heroine Dodie O’Dell is busy party-planning while her town theater’s arranges a production of Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Its greatest challenge is casting the titular vampire, with nearly everyone in the company vying for the part. But when a mysterious new cast-member lands the role, rumors fly that there’s something not-quite-right about him.
The small town really finds itself on the edge when there’s a murder on its hands. After a stranger is found in the cemetery with a stake through his heart, Dodie knows Etonville won’t sleep right until the killer is found….but if she’s not careful, it could be curtains for her, too.
Suzanne Trauth is no stranger to theater herself, having produced, directed, and written on the theater arts. She has also served as theater faculty at Montclair State University, teaching directing, screenwriting, script analysis, and more.
