Make-A-Wish New Jersey helps grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions throughout New Jersey. The goal of the event was to raise enough money to literally grant 200 wishes. The average cost of a wish is about $10,000.
CareOne and Make-A-Wish turned the Prudential Center into a life size candyland. There were numerous activities for children to participate in. Children could ice skate, play carnival games, make a build-a-bear, get their faces painted/hair braided, or interact with the many costumed characters at the event!
200 Wishes was also graced with the presence of a few celebrity guests. Former Olympic figure skater Nancy Kerrigan attended the event and dazzled the crowd with an exciting ice routine. New Jersey Devils goalie Cory Schneider was also in attendance. The beautiful Miss New Jersey, Brenna Weick also present during the event.
