“If you start setting goals that you aren’t going to be able to hit, you are going to get really frustrated with yourself,” Chatzopoulos says. “Setting realistic goals is one of the most important things that I tell people.”
The “Love My Heart” app helps women better manage their healthcare and heart health. Developed by cardiologists who specialize in women’s cardiovascular disease, the Risk Calculator empowers women to determine their own personal risk for development of heart disease.
“Unlike the myriad of things out there,” Tolani says, “it’s simple and it gives you the information that you need.” Once you are given your risk, the app gives suggestions on how to improve. This is all done from your phone.
