Puppy Costume Parade + Family Fall Festival!

As you all know, halloween is right around the corner, and what better way to celebrate than attending the Long Branch Fall Festival and Pooch Parade! This is an event for the WHOLE family to enjoy, puppies included! It will take place at Pier Village, along the oceanfront boardwalk on Saturday, October 27th

Although the costumed puppies will definitely be the highlight of the event, there will be activities for the rest of the family to enjoy as well! The Festival will include bouncy rides, a costumed puppy parade, arts and crafts, touch a truck, craft vendors, a kids costume parade, Fresh Farmers and Makers Market, shopping, food and drink specials at local restaurants, and more!  A DJ will be present as well, along with costumed characters!

You will also be able to take the kiddies trick or treating throughout the shops of Pier Village and their Chamber of Commerce trailer and the Bungalow Hotel! They’ll love the idea of early trick or treating! The Pooch Parade will begin at 12pm, with the line-up happening at 11:30am. The Kids Costume Parade will begin at 2pm. The entire festival will go on from 11am-4pm

This is a cute and fun event for families or even groups of friends. Pier Village is looking to break last year’s 400-person record, and we know they can with #HipNj‘s help!

Garden State Comic Fest

Garden State Comic Fest Recap

Recently, Lisa Marie Latino sat down with Sal Zurzolo to talk about his upcoming event, Garden State Comic Fest! Since then, the event has passed and comic lovers were able to celebrate their passion at the William G. Mennen Arena in Morris County! #HipNJ has the inside scoop on this event. 

 

 

Event goers celebrated their love for comics in a multitude of ways at the Garden State Comic Fest.  Many even dressed up as their favorite comic book characters!

Additionally, attendees were able to listen to a panel of comic book experts!

Some were even lucky enough to talk one-on-one with certain comic book authors themselves.

The event took full advantage of Mennen Arena, with event goers ice skating in their comic book costumes!

All in all, the event was a #comic success! #HipNJ commends Garden State Comic Fest for hosting another successful annual celebration of comics.
