Runway of Dreams will kick-off New York Fashion Week by hosting an industry changing Fashion Show and Gala. This revolutionary event will bring together fashion leaders and innovators to witness change in the fashion industry that is inclusive of people with disabilities.

The evening will feature a cocktail reception, seated dinner, and a RUNWAY SHOW THAT WILL MAKE YOU RE-THINK THE FUTURE OF FASHION.

To fuel our FASHION REVOLUTION we are kicking off the biggest week in the industry. Our move to New York Fashion Week allows us to be part of the energy and conversation amongst fashion leaders, top executives, innovators, designers, models and more. We are putting a stake in the ground to change an industry and inspire innovative design for all consumers including the largest minority group in the world-people with disabilities.

TENCEL™ Visits Willow St. in Morristown

The New York Denim Days Festival is happening on September 22nd and 23rd, and the excitement is spreading among #HipNJ‘s fashionistas! We recently met up with Tricia Carey, the director of global business development for TENCEL™ by Lenzing, at Willow St. in Morristown.

Lenzing’s TENCEL™ Denim uses sustainably harvested trees to provide softness and performance with a low impact on the environment. As title sponsor of New York Denim Days, TENCEL™ will create a shop-in-shop stocked with a selection of garments. This will be done using their fiber from top brands,  including 3X1, Mavi, Reformation, Godfather of Denim and more.

At Willow St., Tricia spoke with its owner, Lezli Salz-Bradley, about how she feels about carrying TENCEL™ in her stores and what she likes most about it.

“It’s definitely how it feels. It’s flowy, it’s always soft, and the color takes well,” Lezli said of TENCEL™. “If you’re dyeing a blue, it’s going to be the brightest blue. It has a lot of great qualities.”

“When I don’t get returns then I know it’s a great product,” Lezli continued. “I think the men love it even more.” The shop, that also boasts a location in Summit, also has a selection of men’s apparel that use TENECEL™.
