The Taco Truck’s Monthly Especials: The Lengua Taco

The Taco Truck, with locations in Hoboken, Morristown, and Princeton, is celebrating the start of a new year with new menu items. The “Monthly Especials” will feature an authentic, unique, off-menu item, launching on the first of every month. #HipNJ has the scoop on January’s.

The first of the rotating especials will be The Lengua, or tongue, Taco. This taco, featuring slow adobo-marinated beef tongue, is a popular street food delicacy in Mexico.

Marinated for 24 hours, the beef tongue is tender before it is braised to perfection. The Lengua Taco is layered with lime-pickled onion and chipotle salsa on a stone-ground corn tortilla, making the perfect dish for those who have resolved to be more adventurous in 2017.

The Lengua Taco only costs $4.50 and is available at all locations. Hurry and get one, it’s available while supplies last!

The Taco Truck strives for authenticity, sustainability, hospitality, and a sense of community. Using high quality ingredients, unique recipes, and sustainable practices, it brings Mexican street food to New Jersey.
