Mariano Rivera, baseball legend, played 19 seasons in the MLB for the Yankees from 1995-2013. He is known for being the greatest relief pitcher of all time, while pitching for a great cause! Tom Maoli is the President and CEO of NJ and NY based luxury dealership group, Celebrity Motor Cars, LLC.
New York athletes across all sports recently came together for a celebrity softball game at Yankees Stadium to support Bergen County power couple Amber and CC Sabathia‘s Pitcch In Foundation.
This foundation enriches the lives of inner city youth by raising their self-esteem through educational and athletic activities. It is located in the New York Tri-state area and also Northern California.
The jam-packed rosters featured over 70 A-list names, including: Victor Cruz, Mariano Rivera, Action Bronson, Sharlee Jeter, Tiki Barber among others. Hollywood power couple Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez also popped in to say hello from the Yankees’ dugout!
Furthermore CC, a 2009 New York Yankees World Series Champion, discussed how the event was a dream come true. In fact, he said, “I always told [my wife] Amber that I’ve wanted to do a rockin’ softball game, but I never thought it would turn out like this.”
