Biddy O’Malley’s Menu Updates for Autumn & Winter

After experimenting and tinkering with new flavors the last few weeks, the team at Biddy O’Malley’s is now officially serving their fall/winter menu.

Executive Chef Wilson Lindemann has amped up the tastes of the season, with new preparations on their classic dishes, incorporating the best ingredients sourced from local farms and purveyors. The four new entrees are as follows:

Shrimp & Grits: Jumbo gulf shrimp, Castle Valley Mill’s cheddar grits, wilted arugula, sauce creole


Pan Seared Atlantic Salmon: Rocket and lemon risotto, porcini mushroom crème, salsa cruda


Grilled Black Angus Hanger Steak: Caramelized Brussels sprouts-chorizo-potato hash, charred scallion emulsion


Guinness Pot Pie: Braised Black Angus short rib, roasted carrots, wild mushrooms, puff pastry

As always, specials will continue to rotate each week for lunch and dinner at both locations.

Available for dine-in and takeout — with delivery coming soon to Englewood — Biddy O’Malley’s is open seven days a week with brunch Sundays in Englewood. Since 2011, Biddy O’Malley’s has been wooing Northern New Jersey patrons with their interpretations of classic Irish gastropub fare and contemporary American dishes in Englewood and Northvale.

Under the guidance of executive chef Wilson Lindemann, they focus on locally sourced provisions plus offer a large selection of carefully curated wine & craft beers served in a comfortable, friendly and relaxing environment.

Specials are rotated weekly, using many seasonal ingredients and flavors. There’s also brunch offered in Englewood on Sundays — plus party options available for groups of large sizes.

Wich-One Now Open in Cliffside Park

Wich-One is officially open for business at 529 Anderson Avenue in Cliffside Park, NJ. The eatery gives customers the opportunity to enjoy a mix of Korean and Asian-inspired food!

This new type of eatery lets customers make  custom sandwiches or create custom Korean style bowls. They also serve sandwiches on a Balthazar ciabatta hero. In addition, the restaurant serves bowls with a base of Korean-style ribeye, farm-raised pork, antibiotic-free chicken, marinated shrimp or spiced Asian-rub tofu.

In addition, customers can choose a base (rice, spring mix, cauliflower rice, or spicy Korean potatoes). This also include numerous free and premium toppings (vegetables, avocado, egg). Customers can then choose a homemade sauces such as gochujang aioli, Asian sesame honey and Asian Korean White among others.

“We believe in great food, quality ingredients and made with a personal touch by adding freshness and love to every recipe we sell,” says owner Marcello Chi. “Having a vast cultural background, we’ve decided to use all that we have grown with in the past and add a little flair by using Asian inspired dishes and create a new concept. We focus on the simple things and elevate it to a new level”.

Tequila Shrimp

2 Tbs. olive oil
1/2 small, red, onion – chopped
1 chipotle pepper in adobo, chopped
1 15 oz. can diced tomato
1 lb. medium shrimp, peeled & deveined
1/4 C. pineapple, chopped
1 Tbs. tequila
1/4 C. chopped, fresh cilantro
