During the coronavirus crisis, small businesses have come together to uplift one another like never before. The Startup Story, a podcast that honors entrepreneurs, is hosting a free live stream to help businesses prepare for the future.
The two-day virtual seminar is meant to help small businesses strategize for the days after coronavirus. Interested entrepreneurs can tune in on May 14th and 15th, from 9am to 6pm.
Once intended to be an in-person event, seminar tickets would have ranged from $150 to $300. Now, organizers are making the seminar free to attend and open to all.
Host James McKinney will have guest speakers unpack the tactics that have allowed them to succeed in troubled times. During the event, the audience can submit direct questions to guests and pick their brains.
“These esteemed business founders will dive into the daily grind, grit, and the multitude of business trials that they have experienced,” said McKinney in an online statement. “These are the inspirational stories that startups, founders, and entrepreneurs need at this moment…to stay afloat.”
After registering, interested entrepreneurs will receive an invite to the event’s private Facebook page. The Startup Story hopes business owners there can commune with each other and make new connections beyond the seminar.
To get your free, 2-day pass to the virtual seminar—and to see the full list of speakers—visit the event’s registration portal.
