How Will the NJ Shutdown Impact Your Fourth of July?

Governor Chris Christie has signed an Executive Order declaring a State of Emergency due to the New Jersey budget standoff in Trenton.

Here is how this may impact your #HipNJ Fourth of July plans:

State parks, recreation areas, forests, historic sites (including Island Beach State Park and Liberty State Park), Travel and Tourism welcome centers and rest areas on I-295 in Deepwater, Salem County and on I-80 in Knowlton, Warren County will be closed until further notice.

Public events within state parks, recreation areas, forests and historic sites are cancelled until further notice.
